HbbTV Symposium in 2022 will be headlined by top speakers


The 10th HbbTV Symposium and Awards in Prague will feature top-level executives from major players and industry experts discussing the latest developments in connected TV. It will take place this week (November 9-10).

The HbbTV Association and Czech Association of Commercial Television (AKTV) host the event. The conference programme will cover topics such as global television and OTT developments in the Czech Republic and Targeted Advertising, conformance rules and interoperability. Specification update, technology trends, audience measurement, specification up-date, and audience measurement.

Speakers include Louay Bassbous (Fraunhofer FOKUS), Oliver Botti (Fincons), Bob Campbell (Eurofins Digital Testing), Fabio Guarnaccia (Mediaset), Frank Heineberg (RTL Deutschland), Ashley Horne (Simplestream), Juha Joki & Mika Kanerva (Sofia Digital), Ranjeet Kaur (DTG), Paul Martin (OBS), Kay Mysliwiec (ProSiebenSat.1), Daniele Novaga (Tivù), Raj Patel (Yotta), Angelo Pettazzi (HbbTV MEWG), Xavier Redon (Cellnex), Aniello Saulino & Pedro Valiente (Kineton), Stuart Savage (LG Electronics), Thomas Stockhammer (Qualcomm) and Moritz Wuttke (Konodrac).

Round table discussions and panel discussions will be complemented with keynotes by Vincent Grivet, Jan Vli?ek (AKTV), Paul Gray(Omdia), Jon Piesing and Andre Prahl from Deutsche TV-Plattform. Leading market players will showcase new products and services at the accompanying exhibition.

HbbTV Symposium 2020 will also host the 5th HbbTV Awards. These awards celebrate and highlight excellence in HbbTV. The prizes will also be presented in a ceremony that takes place on November 9.
