Wallace Carlson is the First Certified Offset Color-Logic Printer for Cold Foil

West Chester, OH USA–Color-Logic today announced that Wallace Carlson Printing is the first Color-Logic-certified offset printing facility for cold foil. The certification was made using Wallace Carlson’s Vinfoil Optima cold foiling unit on the Komori GLX640ADVANCE press. Color-Logic Director, Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves announced the certification. He said that by adding a Vinfoil Optima cold-transfer foiling unit to the Komori GLX640 ADVANCE press and incorporating the Color-Logic metal color system, Wallace Carlson now has all the necessary capabilities to produce the full range 924 Color-Logic colors and our embellishments for packaging clients. This certification expands on the 2018 Wallace Carlson certification. In which the company used Color-Logic with CMYK and silver ink, and white ink for metallic stocks, it helped to differentiate their brand clients.

Charlie Cox, Wallace Carlson COO, commented on the new capability. “Using the ColorLogic process on our Komori presse lets Wallace Carson demonstrate our full metallic capability with an unlimited number foil colors and embellishments on clients’ packaging. Our press produces fully recyclable packaging. We just created a display binder that shows the entire Color-Logic metallic color selection. This is a great tool for graphic designers and marketers.
