Pt Nehru’s birth anniversary celebrated at BHEL Bhopal with traditional vervor

The birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated on Monday with traditional fervor & gaiety at BHEL, Bhopal. Motisingh Rawat, General Manager (Feeders & DTG) and Chairman, BHECNIS and other General Managers garlanded the bust of Pt Nehru located near Administration Building and HRD Building.

Notably, Pt. Nehru, the former PM. BHEL is today regarded as the most important engineering firm in India.

Adapting to the changing business environment, apart from the power sector, BHEL has made inroads in the  transportation, defense equipment & aerospace sector. The Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign by the Government of India has given BHEL many new opportunities in the fields of Coal Gasification and Indian Railways and Defense Equipment.
