Tampa police looking for vandal who inflated inflatable gorilla

On March 14, police said that someone held a lighter to an inflatable gorilla outside Tampa. The hole was then burned through, causing the primate to burst. 

Reddit users shared details about vandalism and also noted that although it seemed “silly”, the inflatable gorilla was privately owned and cost $3,000 according to reports.

Two surveillance cameras captured the crime on video. A spokesperson for Tampa Printer stated that they saw someone riding an “Spin” electric bike on the surveillance video and they reached out to the company in order to track down the individual. They haven’t heard from them yet.
