3D metallic printer, robotic surgeon, amongst exams headed to ISS


NASA and its companions are planning to launch a number of scientific investigations to the Worldwide Area Station (ISS) aboard Northrop Grumman’s twentieth industrial resupply providers mission.

The mission scheduled for launch on January 29 will carry experiments that embody exams of a 3D metallic printer, semiconductor manufacturing, and thermal safety methods for reentry into Earth’s environment.

The cargo will probably be transported aboard the Cygnus spacecraft, which is about to launch atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Area Pressure Station in Florida. Other than the scientific investigations, the Cygnus mission will transport important provisions, tools, and provides to help the crew aboard the ISS.
