US’ EFI Reggiani displays green textile printing tech during ITME 2022

US-based digital printing technology manufacturer EFI Reggiani is showcasing a green and smart solution for industrial textile printing—the EFI Reggiani Terra Silver printer—at the ongoing ITME 2022.

The EFI Reggiani Terra Solution eliminates the need for steaming or washing on direct-to-textile applications, using a greener, more efficient polymerisation process that takes place as the printed textile goes through the printer’s on-board dryer. According to EFI, this allows users to print superior results with less time, water and energy.

India Exposition Mart, Noida will host the EFI Reggiani booth, C3D4 in hall 3. The EFI Reggiani hyper printer is a textile scanning printer that prints at a maximum speed of 20 linear metres per min. It can be ordered in 1.8, 2.5, or 3.4 metre widths.

EFI Reggiani’s exhibit will also promote other products at ITME 222.

The Mezzera Concord is a continuous-rope washing line by the specialist in washing solution that transports fabric via overflow for tensionless running and an independent squeezing device for each channel.

EFI will be showcasing one of the industry’s broadest line-ups of high-end, superior-quality textile inks, including EFI Reggiani Aqua and EFI Reggiani Diamond reactive, Iris dye-sublimation, Aria direct disperse, Fuoco acid, and Gea and Terra pigment inks.

Inèdit (Hall 6, stand 601E), which was recently acquired by EFI Reggiani, is one of the leading developers of raster image processors (RIPs) and related software for digital industrial textile printing with their product portfolio featuring proven, highly advanced workflow solutions for textile profiling, calibration, design integration, and more, added the release.

“We are enthusiastic about the great dynamism of the Indian market and the continued digital transformation this market is experiencing,” said Karthik Ravindranath, regional sales manager at EFI Reggiani, was appointed. “The leading-edge innovations we brought to India ITME create valuable opportunities for our customers to continue to grow by establishing higher-volume, higher-quality digital production services in ways that reduce the textile industry’s high carbon footprint.”
